How To Easily Win Your First Job On Upwork from Pakistan
1) You have Limited connects to play.
Don’t waste them. Just use them carefully and sensibly. Bid on jobs that require 2-4 connects.
2) Bid only between 1am to 7am. Mostly freelancers go to sleep and you have now 90% less competition. You will see only 10-20 proposals on average at this time. Again 80% will be using the copy-paste templates. Now your competition is with only 2-5 people.
3) Choose No Hire filter from Client history! Don’t pay too much attention to the unverified payment method! As I understand it, verifying their payment method is a matter of the client entering their credit card.
4) Choose a job with a long description. The job with detailed explanation.
SOME KEY POINTS:
• Focus on an issue and write feasible solutions for it. Ask question if necessary.
• If required share your proven track record related to it with slight introductory lines.
• Always try to write a creative or attractive first line.
• Short Introduction about your journey.
• Exceptional English is compulsory. Ask him to come online and do a voice session right away. Make a habit of doing voice/video.
P:S:
After 5-15 proposals you will land your first job. Same amount of effort is required for 3-4 hours/day.
