In 2014, around 2 million sellers sold more than 2 billion items worldwide, so Amazon gave its sellers access to a huge and already well-established customer pool.
It has been reported that almost 72 percent of textile product dealers on Amazon source their products from Pakistan so, you can’t just keep Pakistanis away from this great platform.
Pakistan is growing towards e-Commerce and the people are waiting for Amazon Account in Pakistan. Amazon will likely come to Pakistan but still, we cannot create a seller account in Pakistan.
While creating a seller account from Pakistan, Amazon asks you to provide documentation that confirms your account information. After that, they verify the information you provide and then they complete their review and activate your account.
These are the following documents that are required while making an Amazon selling account from Pakistan:
1- National ID card (both sides of the ID card should be submitted in one digital file).
2- Bank account or credit statement.
(The digital statement file should include):
- The bank’s name, logo, and address.
- The account holder’s name
- Bank statement’s date (must be issued in the past 180 days).
3- Documents for verification (if required):
- Bank passbook.
- Utility bills (natural gas or electricity bills)
- Business registration certificate
- Credit card photograph
- MS Word file (file extension .doc or .docx)
Also, note that each document must be visible and readable in its entirety without any blurry information or camera flash reflections.
The information in the verification form (such as your ID number or name) must match the information on the documents you submit.
