What is Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA)?

Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is a world-class Amazon’s fulfillment and customer service. Fulfillment by Amazon provides flexibility in packaging, storage, and shipping assistance to sellers. The best part about FBA is that it takes the burden off of sellers and allows them more flexibility in their selling practices. The FBA program allows sellers to ship their goods to an Amazon fulfillment center, where items are stored and take care of in warehouses until they are sold.

The Benefits of FBA Services:

Sellers can take advantage of all of the benefits and resources associated with Amazon when they take Fulfillment by Amazon services. These include:

1- Having Amazon’s Name Associated With Their Products:

This is a guarantee that most buyers will appreciate, making them more vulnerable to favor a seller because of it. Having the Amazon name associated with their products will help sellers gain the trust of consumers who will be expecting great customer service and instant delivery through FBA.

2- Amazon’s Customer Service Management:

Amazon’s 24/7 customer service management handles all inquiries, refunds, and returns on behalf of FBA sellers. The service is free, only a fee is charged called Returns Processing Fee of selected product categories.

3- Subsidized Shipping Fees:

Amazon has maintained a good relationship with the shipping companies, so sellers using this service will pay less in shipping than FBM. Also, sellers can offer free shipping over a certain amount as their products sold through FBA are acceptable for Amazon Prime and FREE Super Saver Shipping.

4- Multi-Channel Amazon Fulfillment Center:

FBA seller’s inventory can easily be stored in Amazon’s fulfillment centers. Amazon can ship products quickly as well as handling inventory that is being sold on different channels, not just on Amazon’s marketplace.

5- Shipping Standardization:

All FBA orders are prepared in the same way Amazon handles its products. When someone buys an item from Amazon, Amazon picks the item from their inventory, packs the item, and ships it to the buyer.

6- Access to the Prime Audience:

FBA listings that are qualified are Prime-eligible and are displayed with the Prime logo. This allows the seller to reach existing and new customers who seek out free one or two-day shipping, filter specifically for Prime-eligible products, and only convert if the Prime badge is visible.
